In Soft Wings

‘A compelling and beautifully touching tale’

‘An incredible piece of writing’

Following a successful first performance on 30 July 2015, the centenary of the deaths of the protagonists, ‘In Soft Wings’ is being developed for a professional production in 2018. The title is from the poem ‘Into Battle’ by Julian Grenfell, a character in the play:

The thundering line of battle stands,
And in the air Death moans and sings;
But Day shall clasp him with strong hands,
And Night shall fold him in soft wings.

An other play is in other wings.
